WHAT IS A WHOLE HOUSE CONTROL SYSTEM?

A control system is a system where DYDELL’s dimmable LED lamps can be linked to and controlled. The smart home control system from Casambi controls the lighting and can be used through the existing 230V electrical connections. With the other smart home control systems, for instance DMX or Loxone, it is possible to connect other devices such as the heating and stereo in addition to the lighting on an ‘automatic pilot’ basis. Whether you choose a simple control system or an advanced smart home system; with any version of the smart home control system, you can control all your lighting as a group. The total ambiance of the house can be easily adjusted. How far you want to go is up to you. With the Casambi control system you can easily dim the lamps and set timers that automatically call up the desired lighting based on time, sunrise, or sunset. Do you want more than just ‘click-on and click-off’, but not 20 different remote controls? Then it is important to know that to dim LED lighting nicely without your LED lamps flickering, an operating system is almost always required.

WHAT IS A HOME CONTROL SYSTEM?

A home operating system connects all the technology in your home. Loxone, for example, is a smart home control system. But there are other smart home control systems, for example JUNG, Gira and Busch & Jager. These systems often work on the KNX-protocol. The light sources can be linked to this KNX control system through DMX or DALI. With a smart home Domotics system such as KNX and Loxone, it is possible to control other products in addition to your lighting, such as your audio system, curtains, air conditioning or garden calculation.

Most LED smart home control systems, such as KNX and DMX, are wired systems. This means that new cabling must be run for each light source, which makes it possible to communicate with the lighting. Especially in existing homes, restaurants, and hotels, it is sometimes impossible or very expensive to install new cabling. Casambi offers the ideal solution for this. All lamps and products can be connected to the existing 230V electrical points. Because every light source has an integrated Casambi control system that works on Bluetooth mesh, wireless communication can be made between the lamps and the Casambi smart home control system.

LOXONE DOMOTICS SMART HOME CONTROL SYSTEM

Loxone is a smart home control system to which Loxone lighting from DYDELL, but also other devices, such as blinds, heating, alarm, and music, can be connected and operated as one system. Loxone home automation offers both wired and wireless solutions. Would you like to process DYDELL’s dynamic light sources in a Loxone Domotica smart home control system to control your Loxone lighting, such as a Loxone spot, as a whole? No problem, the smart light sources from DYDELL can be easily connected to the Loxone system and controlled through the DMX or DALI input or extension of Loxone. You can set and control atmospheres through the Loxone app or with the Loxone wall control panel.

CASAMBI SMART HOME CONTROL SYSTEM

If you do not want to control all products in your house with one control system, but you want to limit yourself to lighting, the user-friendly Casambi control system is the ideal solution. This system is a home operating system that works on Bluetooth. A Bluetooth chip is processed locally in the Casambi lighting, whereby the communication between the LED lamps is strengthened and can be set with your mobile, tablet, or smartwatch. Another advantage is that the adapter of the Casambi lighting from DYDELL can be connected to the existing 230V electricity points without special new cabling.

This saves on cabling and makes it easy to add new lamps to a group, which can be controlled separately and jointly. The Casambi lighting, such as the Casambi spot or Casambi LED line are visible in the Casambi app. You only need the Casambi app (Apple and Android) to set up scenes or activate timers. You can use the app of your Casambi home operating system through your phone, tablet, or smartwatch, with which you can easily set the color, white balance and dimming mode of the Casambi lighting. You can easily add the saved atmospheres with the wall button. This allows you to manually call up the desired atmosphere at any time.

THE DMX SMART HOME CONTROL SYSTEM

DMX stands for Digital Multiplex and is a digital smart home system often used to control intelligent lighting fixtures from a distance. Although DMX was originally made for theaters, the system is increasingly used in homes. Perfect for those who want full control over their LED lighting. The powerful DMX lamps, such as the DMX LED spot and the DMX LED strip or DMX LED bulb, are powered with 24 Volt and must be connected to the DMX smart home control system through a DMX cable. Because the DMX control system is incorporated in DYDELL’s DMX lamps, the desired DMX channels can easily be put into the DMX lighting through the RDM system. Optionally, DMX lighting from DYDELL can be expanded with an emergency light module. As soon as the power goes out, all connected light sources will light up for an hour.
