DYDELL BV was established in March 2011 and is the manufacturer of innovative LED-lighting. DYDELL stands for ‘Dynamic Design LED Lights’, developing design lamps into which the high quality and energy efficient LED-light bulb has been integrated. Kobbe Pas, general manager and designer, saw opportunities within LED-lighting and invented a LED light bulb with a unique internal cooling system. Kobbe studied Industrial Design Engineering in Delft and after that worked for seven years at a company that developed industrial applications with LED-lights. DYDELL BV is situated in Haarlem in the Netherlands and focuses on both Dutch and International markets. The in-house developed LED-lighting concept is produced in partnership with various renowned Dutch suppliers.
Driving force
The phasing out of the incandescent light bulb, the curtain falling in 2018 for the halogen lamp and the dissatisfaction about attractive LED alternatives were our main motives for coming up with a wholly new lighting concept.
Who are we?
Managing director, Mr Kobbe Pas, studied Industrial Design Engineering at the Delft University of Technology and has been involved in LED lighting since 1998. He therefore has a lot of experience in developing successful LED lighting products. Kobbe Pas is the inventor and designer of the DYDELL LED light source.
Commercial director Ms Carolien Voorhuis, finished a study Policy, Communication and Organisation at the VU University Amsterdam. Since 2003 Carolien has held several commercial positions in the field of Marketing & Sales and Business development within the publishing & retail world.
