The guiding principles for the redesign of the Theater Café of Deventer Schouwburg were sustainability, reuse and local designers. One of these partners was Tinus design, a designer duo who fabricates lamps, cabinets, tables and stools from found objects. Especially for the Theater Café, they fabricated the ‘smeerputlampen’, which are lamps that used to hang on the walls of a grease pit. The inside of the aluminum hoods was beautifully
finished with wood, Subsequently, our high-quality and dynamic WW LED line was incorporated therein, which can easily switch between cool- and warm-white light. In the daytime, the lamps offer functional light for the flex workstations and in the evening atmospheric light for the visitors of a performance in the theater.
