LOBBY PHILHARMONIE HAARLEM

The Philharmonie in Haarlem approached us with another lighting issue. The Upstairs foyer is a relatively low space on the 1st floor of the theater. This serves as a reception area during drinks or during the break of concerts. In the floor and the walls, pieces of line light have been incorporated from the architecture (which have now been replaced by DYDELL and made sustainable and changeable). According to the theater, this foyer felt too dark and not sufficiently cozy. DYDELL has therefore incorporated its unique RGBW LED spot into the mixed ceiling.

Because the flanges of the spot can be blended into a ceiling, we had the flanges of the spots sprayed in the color of the ceiling. Because the bar staff has no technical knowledge of, for example, a DMX mixing console and they did not feel like installing new DMX cabling, the Casambi control system was chosen. Behind the bar is a tablet that is permanently fed and cannot be closed by the wall bracket. This allows preference settings to be called upon the spot and atmospheres can be adjusted. What a great result!
