The renovation and redesign of Stadsschouwburg Middelburg is a complete transformation of the existing building. The interior of all rooms around the hall is also completely new. DYDELL had the honor to illuminate the artists’ rooms, the corridor to the foyer, the entrance to the auditorium and the corridors along the auditorium with beautiful and sparkle-free lighting with the 2700K Glareless spotlight controlled with DALI. The color of the flange of the spot has been sprayed in the appropriate RAL color according to the wishes of the architect.
The spot goes up in the ceiling, creating a beautiful and calm light image. The addition of red velvet wallpaper in the boxes and red textile on the back wall, combined with a new light plan, creates a festive metamorphosis. The lighting plan is the elaboration of this. But in addition to atmosphere, the proposal also meets the functional requirements for each room that lighting may have.
