Panel light

Research has shown that falls are the main cause of injury for the elderly. Problems with vision are the main cause for falls. The lens and the cornea of the elderly are darker, more yellow in colour, and feature smaller pupils. In addition, research shows that the elderly are more likely to become disoriented.  As a result, elderly people need three to five times more light to function than young people. For Zorggroep The Laren, DYDELL successfully applied its tuneable white LED panels (with a simple push-turn button) into a range of aged care facilities. The LED panel is obtainable with tuneable white light, in which both functional white (6500K) and warm white LEDs (2800K) are processed. Once the panel is dimmed, the colour temperature of the light is warmer.

  • Lumen output: 3136 lumen
  • Size: 600 mm x 600 mm or 1200 mm x 300 mm
  • Tuneable white: combination of cool LED’s (6500K) and warm white LED’s ( 2800K). Once the panel is dimmed, the colour temperature of the light is warmer
