LOXONE SMART HOME SYSTEM

THROUGH PRO DMX

Loxone is a smart home system to which DYDELL lamps, but also other devices such as your sun blinds, heater, security system, music and energy management, can be connected and can be controlled to the “automatic pilot” as a single system. The vision of a Loxone Smart Home is that it fully automatically takes over all kinds of tasks from you, leaving you with more time for other important things in life. Whether you’re building, renovating, expanding or simply want to improve your home: Loxone offers both wired and wireless solutions.

“When someone calls at the door while my son is sleeping above, the bell doesn’t ring but a light impulse in the kitchen and in the living room informs me that there is someone at the door. My home takes my sweethearts into account. That is my Loxone moment”.

DYDELL DYNAMIC LIGHTING IN YOUR LOXONE SMART HOME?

If you would like the dynamic DYDELL light sources in your Loxone Smart home, a DIN rail box will be installed for example in your electricity metre cupboard. This feeds the lamps with 24 Volts. The Din rail box is connected to the Loxone “DXM extender” with a 3-pole DMX cable. Next, the DMX extender is connected to the “Loxone Mini Server” or “Loxone GO” with a “link communication cable”. The Loxone App can be used to adjust and control the atmosphere.

EASY CONTROL

Loxone puts your life at home on the autopilot. Your home thinks along with you, and frees time for other things. But you always stay in complete control. A click on a push button or a tap on your smartphone is enough to intervene.

LOXONE MINI SERVER

The Loxone Mini Server is the wired central control system that organises, all tasks in and around your home. Many devices can be connected directly to the Mini Server with numerous inputs and outputs. With a 24V power supply and some help from DYDELL or Loxone Partner, the Mini Server is ready to use right away. The device offers:

8 Relay exits – e.g. to connect 4 roller shutters (curtains) or 8 lighting circles – 8 digital inputs to connect push buttons or sensors such as window, door contacts and more – 4 analogue inputs to connect temperature sensors, humidity sensors – 4 analogue outputs to e.g. connect analogue control valves– LAN interface for programming, visualisation and checking network devices, such as TV, PV system – KNX interface for communication with KNX products.

The Loxone Link cable allows the system to be extended with additional ports up to 30 extensions. The Link cable can for example be used to connect the DMX extension which controls DYDELL lamps.

LOXONE MINI-SERVER GO

The “Loxone Mini Server Go” with “Loxone Air technology” has been developed especially for everyone wishing to give his existing house more intelligence and comfort without jagging into walls or laying new cables. Thanks to the Loxone Air technology, the Ethernet connection and the Loxone Link the Loxone Mini Server Go can be easily expanded, and this makes it fully ready for the future!

Every Air device that is linked to the Loxone Mini Server Go, expands the wireless network, increasing the range (Mesh network). Loxone Air devices can transmit, receive and identify radio signals. This makes the Air technology very versatile. In addition, the Loxone Air devices are highly energy-efficient.

DMX EXTENSION

Controlling the DYDELL dynamic multi-colour lighting by way of Loxone requires a DMX Extension. DMX is used for communication and data transmission of the lighting. For example, information about dimming or the desired light colour is transmitted digitally to the lamp. The DMX extension is the “coupling” between the DIN rail box with DYDELL DMX control with the Loxone control system using the Mini Server. 128 channels can be created with a single extension. Would you like to control more than 128 DMX channels? No problem. You can connect up to 30 Extensions to the Mini Server so that it grows with your project. Thanks to Loxone Config software the implementation of DMX control is child’s play. Within a few minutes your DMX can be fully controlled via your smartphone, laptop or tablet.

TREE EXTENSION

The Tree Extension is the ‘root’ to which you can connect 100 Tree devices. Just like the branches of a tree, you can quickly and flexibly build up the cabling. The Tree Extension is the base of Loxone Tree in a Loxone Smart Home. Up to 50 Tree devices can be connected to the two connections. This way, you can provide one branch per floor with smaller branches to the different rooms. As a result, you can save on cables and connection blocks. All products connected to the Tree are “plug & Play”. DYDELL uses the Tree to add, for example, the ‘Touch Tree’ wall-control panel to the system can be used to manually call up atmospheres.
